Wilderness Awareness School offers a range of wilderness-awareness training, tracking courses, leadership trainingand other experiences that can deepen one's connection with nature. such as "advanced bird language" The school is based in the foothills of the Cascade mountains about 45-minutes outside of Seattle, WA but I believe they also offer affiliate programs elsewhere. Their website also offers a wonderful library of useful articles relating to nature skills and nature connection.
